A little later than planned (sorry for the delay) we are delighted to announce the winnerrs of the signed footballs.

Thanks to all those that took part in our competition to win a football signed by the Athlone Town team. The winners as picked by the players themselves are Robert Aged: 9 and Michael Aged:7.

soccer+fan : stopped going to matches a while back as he leaving players out a lot better than he plays i think he has lost it completly

Guest_1433 : you seem to think you kno a lt so why dont you tell theom yourself? those men give up a lot of time for the club, and they dont always make the right decisions but at the same time they're doing their best with the resources they have. a lot of people were elected to various comittees over the years and left or did nothing and what good is that. you obviously just like stirrin things but have no evidence of anything goin on, you're just lookin for a reaction and i dont think you'll get one to

Guest_1287 : im sure the club are well away of their boundaries when it comes to paying players so people should leave them be ans let them get on with it.
Guest_1287 : patron scheme is completely seperate from the club, its a diffent committee nd ther clubs treasurer has absolutelt nothing to do with it. im sure all the accounts will be presented at the end of the scheme to show who was paid etc
guest : also is they money being taken from the patrons schemce which was clearly stated no money would be used for funding the club only for payin old debts !!!
guest : well matters if payments are not done correct and right with the rules of the FAI and the club ends up being kicked out !!

Guest_1287 : im sure the accounts will be available at the agm as they are every year so everyones "queries" will be answered then. dont understand why it matters to people though how the players/manageme nt etc are getting paid.
guest : only reason some of players on this is to make room for not players being payed higher wages, and dont forget you have management wages too !!!!!! so think query is correct
